Important Dates & Renewals
The dates that arrive quietly and cost money when they're missed: birthdays and anniversaries, insurance and passport renewals, an MOT or vehicle inspection, a licence expiry, an appointment, a filing deadline. Each row records what it is, its category, the date, whether it recurs yearly, monthly or is a one-off, who or what it relates to, and — the field that does the real work — the lead time you need. A passport that expires in eight weeks is not an eight-week problem if renewing it takes twelve. Nothing is assumed about how long anything lasts or when it must be done: renewal periods and validity rules differ by country, by issuer and by document, so the date and the lead time are yours to fill in from the document itself. It is a list, not a reminder service — it sends no alerts and does nothing on its own.

Frequently asked
Where is my data stored?
Only on this device, in your browser. Nothing is ever uploaded — these lists hold personal details about you and about other people, and they stay here. Export to CSV to back the list up, print it, or move it to another device.
Does this tool work anything out for me?
No. It is a list you keep, not an authority. It stores exactly what you typed and does not value anything, check a rule, calculate a figure, or remind you of a date — the insurer, issuer or agency involved is the only place that answers those.
Why isn't a renewal period filled in for me?
Because there isn't a single right one. How long a passport, licence, permit or policy runs, and how early you're allowed to renew it, depends on the country and the issuer and gets changed. The only correct dates are the ones printed on your own document or letter — put those in, and add the lead time you'll realistically need.
