Co-Parenting Plan Builder
Work through the parts of a parenting plan that cause the arguments later: the week-to-week schedule, exchanges, holidays and vacations, who decides on medical and school, how the parents communicate, notice before a move, and how disputes get handled. You end up with a written plan to take to court.

Frequently asked
Is the plan enforceable once we both sign it?
Generally not. A parenting agreement usually has to be approved by a court and entered as an order before anyone can enforce it. Take this to your court's family self-help center, a facilitator or a mediator to get it into the form your court accepts.
Does it calculate custody percentages or child support?
No — it's forms and organization, not legal advice, and it computes neither. Child support is set by your state's guideline formula and by the court; legal aid or your court's family facilitator can help with both, usually free.
