231 free tools that keep working when your WiFi doesn't
Most "free" web tools are free because you are the product. Type your salary into a calculator and it goes to a server. Upload a PDF to check it and you have just handed someone your contract.
The GG Network works the other way round. Every tool is Rust compiled to WebAssembly and it runs inside your browser. Your numbers, your text and your files never reach a server, because there is no server to reach.
The test that proves it
Load the site once, then turn on airplane mode. Everything still works. Not a cached shell that shows an error when you press the button — the actual tools, still calculating. That is not a privacy promise you have to trust; it is one you can check in ten seconds.
What is in it
- 231 calculators and converters — percentages, loans, unit conversion, dates, text and code utilities, colour, health, benefits screening.
- 48 local databases — a personal CRM, inventory, expense ledger, symptom logs, and more. Stateful, saved in your browser, exportable to CSV whenever you want out.
- Teach-the-steps. The maths tools show their working. The point is that you can eventually do it on paper without us.
So how is it paid for?
A separate professional tier — GG Pro — sells document and compliance tools to people who use them for work. That is the whole business model. The free side never has to harvest anyone, because it is not the thing being sold.
